How Many Medals Did Team GB Win At Paris 2024 Olympics?

Team GB won 65 medals at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, including 14 gold, 22 silver and 29 bronze. 

Their total of 65 was the third-highest number of medals won by any country, behind USA and China, but the final medal table ranks by the number of golds, meaning GB were seventh overall. 

GB had over 370 athletes competing in the Olympics, competing in 24 sports. They won medals in 18 different sports.

MOTHERS WITH MEDALS

There were nine mothers in Team GB’s squad at the Paris 2024 Olympics, and seven of them won medals! Congratulations to Katy Marchant, Ros Canter, Helen Glover, Mathilda Hodgkins-Byrne, Amber Rutter, Elinor Barker and Bianca Williams.

YOUNG & OLD WIN

The youngest medallist was 16-year-old skateboarder Skye Brown and the oldest was 57-year-old dressage rider Carl Hester.

TOM HAD GREAT SUCCESS IN PARIS

Fun fact: Ten men called Tom or Thomas competed for Team GB and eight of them won a medal! 

PARIS VS LONDON, RIO & TOKYO

Paris marks four successive Olympic Games where Team GB have won 60 or more medals.

In London 2012, Team GB won 65 medals: 29 gold, 18 silver, 18 bronze. 

In Rio 2016, Team GB won 67 medals: 27 gold, 23 silver, 17 bronze. 

In Tokyo 2020, Team GB won 64 medals: 22 gold, 20 silver, 22 bronze.

In Paris 2024, Team GB won 65 medals: 14 gold, 22 silver, 29 bronze.

So while Team GB had a successful Paris 2024 Games, they won fewer golds overall compared to the previous three Olympics. 

USA TOP THE TABLE

Team USA won 126 medals in Paris, including 40 golds, 44 silvers and 42 bronzes. They were especially dominant at athletics, winning 34 medals, with 14 golds.

China also won 40 golds but had fewer silver (27) and bronze (24) medals, and total of 91.
