The National Running Show 2022
This weekend, The Running Channel will be hosting a series of panel discussions at The National Running Show. We are very much looking forward to returning to the event and we can’t wait to see so many of our community there.
Here are a few things we think you need to know:
Getting there and entry
The show will be open 9am – 5pm on both Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd January 2022. The National Running Show is in halls 17 & 18.
Getting to the NEC is easy. If you are travelling by car you’ll find it clearly signposted from all motorways and major routes including the M42, M40 and M6 – just pop B40 1NT in your sat nav to get close, then follow the signs when you see them.
When you arrive at the NEC, look out for the show name you’re visiting on our signs. After parking, simply jump on our free shuttle bus, or take a leisurely stroll along our signposted footpaths.
Our postcode will not take you to the car park for your event, so please follow signage.
Keep up to date with what’s happening on the roads – plan your journey in advance and find out the latest traffic information when you’re here, available on Highways England’s website.
If you are travelling by train you won’t even need to brave the elements. Direct services run all day, however if you’re travelling from further afield you may need to catch a connecting train at Birmingham New Street, which is less than a 15-minute journey away.
For more information, visit National Rail or call them on 08457 484950.
The NEC is following industry and government guidelines regarding Covid. The safety of those attending is paramount and you are encouraged to check the latest information from the NEC before attending the event to make sure that they have the required documentation to enter the venue – https://www.thenec.co.uk/visitors/plan-your-visit/
Do I have to wear a face-covering?
We are adhering to government guidelines, for everyone’s safety, face coverings must be worn throughout the venue – unless you are exempt.
Where you’ll find The Running Channel
We are so excited to be sponsoring the Running Skills Stage at this year National Running Show. We’ve been attending the event for many years now and look forward to it coming around with so much excitement. The fact that we weren’t able to attend last year was so disappointing for us so to be back this year, bigger than ever is something we are really looking forward to.
You’ll find the Running Skills Stage to the right-hand side of the hall and our Running Channel stand is located right beside it in lot A40. Members of the team will be around the stand all day so if you fancy stopping by and saying hello, we’d love to see you.
We’ll also be shooting content throughout the day so if you want to feature in an upcoming Running Channel episode, make yourself known!

Who else will be there
It would probably be easier to list the people who won’t be there but we’ll give it a go. There are three main stages at the venue and on each stage there are a range of speakers from all areas of running. There are Olympic Gold Medal winners, ultra running world record holders, globe-trotting adventurers, nutritionists, physiotherapists, coaches, personalities that you will know from outside of the running world, plus some special guests too.
You can find the full list of speakers here but it is safe to say that there is an expert to cover every running area that you could hope to hear from.
How can I get tickets?
If you haven’t already bought your tickets, there is still time to change that. Book your tickets here and as a special treat, Running Channel subscribers can gain free entry to the event by using the code CHANNEL at the check out.
We’ll see you this weekend!
