We challenged our resident Olympian Andy and not-so-average runner Sarah to a head-to-head pace race BUT, in true Running Channel style, this race won’t be simple.
The competitors have to first run a 5K on the road and then, unbeknownst to them, follow this up with a 5K on a trail. The road route is around the beautiful Willen Lake and the trail is a more technical route in Rushmere Country Park. The winner will be decided by comparing the difference between their two run times – the runner with the smallest gap between race times will win!
